Mr.Ram Niranjan Jatia , the founder of Evergreen Global Pte Ltd, started his trading business in Myanmar. In 1962 , at a very young age of 21, he shifted base to India and built his reputation in the imported Japanese Polyester Yarn business. He soon extended his Textile and Textile Raw Material operations to Nepal, Taiwan, Korea and Japan. In 1989, he decided to base the headquarters in Singapore, which was then quickly becoming a major trading hub in the Far East. Tyre trading was added as one of the core focus areas and to manage the fast growing business, branch offices were established in Myanmar, Vietnam, Philippines and Dubai.
