salman
I dont understand why people think that changing the fuel filter is really necessary after every 30 to 50,000 kms. My dear friends, its not like that. You can consider this as a preventive measure but there is no such need to do this until and unless there is actual dirt in the filter. Compare me and my friend, i never had my fuel filter replaced and my friend did it every single time of the servicing. But there is no such difference in the performance of my car and his car. So please guys, be smart in taking care of your ar not STUPID!!!
crackjack
Absolutely Bro! I tell my sister the same thing but she never understands. I am driving Honda Civic from 7 years now and i got the fuel filter changed only twice, when it was actually needed. And my car is running really smooth. No problem at all! ethan
Ahaan. This is something really new to me. Even I use to get the filter changed after 30,000 kms. But it seems its not needed. Will surely keep this in mind. Thank you Mr. Salman for sharing. I am sure many people are doing the same thing as me.
Mach3
They can get dirty. But, it probably will take 100,000 kms or more for it to happen. I don’t think you need to change the fuel filter on a new car. But, it’s a good idea as the car ages.
gshane
It is a preventive measure - better safe than sorry. The damage that can be caused by clogged filter can cost you a lot.
