checking tire pressure

Recommended Posts

You’re going to want to check your tire pressure often.  Especially if you’re planning a long trip.  It’s best to check your fluids also before going on a long trip.

Personally, I check the pressure in my tires less often during spring & autumn, and more often during summer & winter.

I noticed that, even if I do use my car on a daily basis, when it's either hot or really cold outside, I sometimes find my tires to be a bit deflated. My mechanics tell me it's from the temperature change (hot during the day, cold at night..).

If the driving becomes weird and the car starts to go a little bit to the left or to the right. I always check the tire sin this case although the problem might be something else. It is also a good idea to check them before driving on longer destinations.

I use the local gas station to check my tires once a month. This is a very quick procedure and it can save you a lot of troubles and money.
