Mobile speed radar fitted on Dubai Police cars

This is getting too much now, as every now and then we all exceed speed limit here and there while overtaking or rushing into the new road......! This new camera car will increase the pile up of slow snail on the Dubai roads now.

Same like safe distance definition by Dubai resident has been understood as 300 meters and not 5 -10 meters, and everyday in morning I see those morons driving in high speed lane with HUGE gaps and causing everyone extra delay.

These aggressive ideas will still not secure the road than fixing the driving school base practice who does not teach basic driving manners and etiquette. Only rules have been taught and nothing else.

There are thousands of dumb drivers happily driving and causing all below non-sense since eternity:

  1. Cutting from right most lane to left lane in 5 seconds for crossing 4 lanes.
  2. Hitting the brakes 1 km in advance of red light.
  3. Rubber necking on every accident and cause endless pile of traffic.
  4. Drive on 80 km speed on a road of 120 km and not ready to move aside.
  5. Enter the round abound w/o checking any shoulder.
  6. Keeping 500 meter distance between the car on Sheikh Zayed Road.
  7. NEVER EVER use indicator in their entire life.
  8. Never give side in bumper to bumper traffic.
  9. Tailgate you 5 inches away and flash light like tsunami is about to hit.
  10. Talking on phone, doing make-up, texting while driving and getting distracted and swiveling in lanes.

Danny: You expressed your frustration and concern quite well, but most of those points are cultural and regional based. Like if someone is born and brought up with driving w/o indicators, then they won't change in driving school.

I like your overall 10 points, very well thought and showing the real issues at hand.
