AC problem

I know Cadillacs are not best when it comes to cooling in this desert, however the ac seems to turn off the cool air and just blow hot air when RPM hits 2 .

Any suggestions y

You are correct, the desert climate has a massive effect on our a/c's. Even then, though, that doesn't sound like it's acting normal at all.

1. Check the filter first.

2. Bring it to a shop ASAP.

Check the blower fan it must be in a bad shape, also make sure the compressor is fine, that is located with the serpentine belt. sometime it happens with the faulty electrical line (earthing)

Agreed! Make sure that the filter is working fine in your car. I even read an article upon desert driving. the derert climate does affects the AC of the car. So, before entering into desert make sure the compressor of the AC is wired properly. The best thing that you can do is consult a professional and give your car for scanning before going to desert (interior as well as exterior).
