What is the UAE rules say about baby seats

i have bought this car and in UK we were suppose to have a baby seat before the child rides the car is there any such rule here.

even though there is no such rule here for baby seats to be mandatory its a good practice for the safety of you child. there is a rule for the child should not sit in the front though.

its very very dad that there is no rule here i have read in yesterdays gulfnews that a 1 year old past away because he was not in a baby car seat. its not like this in other developed country. RTA should make this a mandatory.

agreed ive seen kids less then a year old sitting in the front and at times without seat belt or they sit in the middle of the rear seat which is so dangerous as they are ligh in weight and can go flying to the windscreen.

child seat is mandatory in UAE, this new law came into force after the authorities found that childeren in the UAE are not strapped while traveling. Nearly 70% of accident happened due to this negligence.
