Excellent area for some nice rolling dunes and it to have a nice paced drive. Have attached a very well taken video by Sertac the last time we were in this area.

Hope to see the fewbies joining and enjoying the good part of offroading.

Thanks Sri for the exciting video, but that level was fewbie to intermediate on that drive.

@Faizan khan @jibransayed and @basharhafez this is a fewbie level drive, so you can join with any of the participant as a passenger or wait for next fewbie drive once you are upgraded to that level.

If no fewbie joins in this drive, the level will be moved to Intermediate.......😍

Dear @Gaurav @Rahimdad and @skumar83I really wish to join this trip but based on my car and experience for this level I cannot. Can I join one of the participants as a passenger to learn and experience more, just take one seat of your cars?

Thanks in advance

Congratulations @Emmanuel for reaching the Marshal level with Carnity Offroad club.
It is one of the most prestigious and sought after title that comes with a lot of hard work, patience, tolerance, and dedication.
Just like all the levels in Carnity offroad club is "NOT" only based on driving skills but instead based on the combination of your personality + intelligence + team spirit + adventure. This Marshal title is an epitome for all levels in the offroad grading structure.
So if anyone wants to grow, they can set Marshal as a PERFECT example for not only following the driving style but observing their behavior, teamwork, presence of mind, calculative approach, patience and tolerance to teach and support new offroaders.
Once again congratulations Emmanuel and best wishes for your next adventure!

As the early morning weather is getting little better, so its been decided to split the Intermediate drive from midnight to early morning to experience both night drive and day drive in one go. Plan is to start bit late and drive for 2-3 hours in night, then take a break and then enjoy the fast pace morning drive in some amazing set of dunes in Al faqa desert. Al Faqa desert is famous for its long range tall dunes that are fun to drive at good pace for ridge riding, side sloping and testing your offroad skills. The drive is for Intermediates and above only.

Positioning is very important and then the tug intensity - gradual to constant pull than jerking that may result in flip instantly.
      Well done @Emmanuel
Key things for every offroader to notice and learn here:
Tried self recovering first to the max. Clear sand from front tires on both sides. Identify a safe spot to recover with least force - Front and left side. Position car with utmost precision to deliver just a minimal tug at right angle. Stuck 4x4 wheels pointing left to support the recovery process by using engine power. Started with a soft tug and then applied a pulling strength and not a jerk to cause a flip.

Sweihan dunes also regarded as "Little Liwa" by some and offers plenty of opportunities to test our desert driving skills by climbing sideways, ridge riding, ridge cutting and to climb huge dunes to its peak and capture some stunning pictures. As the weather is still hot, its best to start off at the onset of sunrise and have a good 3 hours of fast paced drive through some of the most amazing dunes that UAE has to offer.
This drive is for Intermediate & above level
      When: 16th August 2019, Friday
