Gaurav
QUA DESERT AND AL WAGAN DESERT DRIVE Much awaited Qua drive to conquer the unconquered "Pajero Bowl" It's this humongous bowl from which I was unable to come out and then we have to join tow ropes and winch together to bring my Pajero out. Plan to attempt the same bowl and let's see with cooler weather and calm approach if we can make it out from this bowl this time or not. I'll be very happy if anyone in our car makes it out this time, as we have planned several paths by watching the video a few hundred times. After this challenge, we plan to have a full day drive in two parts: Enter from Wagan straight to Pajero bowl and exit to Qua for prayer, lunch, and refueling Enter from Al Qua and play in those amazing dunes until dark Meeting point: Al Wagan Adnoc Station: https://goo.gl/maps/gyxLBucoksn Pajero Bowl: 38 km from Wagan Adnoc: https://goo.gl/maps/sZcm356thyJ2 Qua Adnoc: Refuel and Lunch: https://goo.gl/maps/szJcnjr1oRu Al Qua Mosque: Friday Prayer: https://goo.gl/maps/NA5xL4LL3LH2 Start Time: 7 AM at Pajero Bowl Option 1: 9 PM, Thursday, 14 Feb 2019 - At Al Wagan Adnoc Station, Camp overnight at Pajero Bowl Option 2: 6 AM, Friday, 15 Feb 2019 - At Al Wagan Adnoc Station, reach Pajero Bowl by 7 AM Finish Time: 7 PM at Qua Adnoc Drive level: Intermediate and above Drive Checklist: Your 4x4 should be well serviced and all lubes and fluid should be topped up 20 Liter water can or equivalent water bottles Air compressor, tow rope, 2 rated shackles, proper shovel, flag, jack, and wooden plank Please ensure that your car is in the best possible condition as this is an area that would definitely test your vehicle. Srikumar
I am in for Option 1, prefer to camp there the previous night. If everyone is camping then maybe we can do it near the bowl. Else might prefer to camp close to the petrol station. Anyone else in for the camping?
Emmanuel
I think I will camp also. Near the Pajero bowl sounds great. Or inside the bowl 😜
