Srikumar
Hi, Has anyone had previous experience of installing frame Stiffners especially for offroading either for a Cherokee or for any other Unibody vehicle. Are they necessary? I have heard the unibody creaking at times while subjecting it to sudden angle changes.
Gaurav
I had a brace on my Patrol front axle installed by the previous owner, as that was the weakest point of 2006 -2012 Nissan Patrol. They really saved my Patrol axle as all three of my friend and one brother bent the axle within 1 year of regular offroading. If creaking is loud and has some known weak point as per internet forums then I think it's necessary. 1 Let's root for each other & watch each other grow. Rahimdad
Wow @Srikumar, I didn't even think we needed these for nobody, but thinking about it makes total sense. After googling a bit I even came across loads of information on this. I am sharing a few pics, but please do keep us posted on the progress.
