Trip report:

Great day, great people, loads of smiles, patience and enthusiasm. Initially we had decided to split the convoy, to newbie and Fewbie levels, but since we had very few Fewbie we decided to have both the convoys together with an imaginary split. As my newbie drives are we started with some easy track and gradually increased the level. Mostly everybody managed it well with a few refusals to add to our learning process.

We unfortunately had I little incident with the FJ Cruiser where the radiator was hit, thanks to some technical help at hand and @Gaurav bhai who stayed back to help, the rest of the convoy followed me to our play ground. Here we had a few experienced individuals try out the sideys. It was a lot of fun and had a false alarm where @eduardo Pajero had its jump quota after a long time and started weeping out of joy. Soon we established that there was nothing to worry about and moved on to our breakfast point.

After a quick bite and some jokes cracked we had to pack up and move out due to Friday prayer time. By this time @Gaurav bhai had joined us. We headed to the road, prayers and finally the petrol station where some of us inflated to head home, while others headed back to the afternoon Fewbie drive. All in all a good day and thank you to all for joining. With special thanks to @yogic72 for being my second lead, @Gaurav, @Srikumar, @Emmanuel, @eduardo and @Fuad for supporting the drive. Until next time adios amigos.

It was very fun packed day with lot of learning. Critical incident was well handed by @Gaurav , @Srikumar , @Emmanuel@Rahimdad There is lot more to learn from you guys.

Chitchat moments in between the refusals, recoveries, breakfast was all fun and it makes us a family.

May be i will be the one driving 130+ for every drive to meet you guys. Its always worth drive.

@eduardo you had a jump quota.!! I missed it.

Looking forward to meet you all.

Happy to be part of Carnity.

@Rahimdad @Gaurav @Srikumar @Emmanuel Always a pleasure to drive with all of you! It's a wonderful thing to see the member grow and see new people joining and learning like @AKR.

Special thanks to all the guys who helped me with the tire situation at the start and sorry for delaying the convoy!

@Fuad & all, I hope that this "jump" would be the last, as I wish to keep my car good enough to follow you each friday ;)

Special thanks for @Rahimdad for the great write-ups after each drive, it's great to relive the morning on the forum :)

Sweihan dunes also regarded as "Little Liwa" by some offers plenty of opportunities to test our desert driving skills by climbing sideways, ridge riding, ridge cutting and to climb huge dunes to its peak and capture some stunning pictures. As the weather is still hot, its best to start off at the onset of sunrise and have a good 3 hours of fast paced drive through some of the most amazing dunes that UAE has to offer.

As the weather begin to change for good, this might be the last night drive to enjoy this year, as now in night weather has become very pleasant with cool breeze. Time to enjoy chilled out desert drive in our much loved Mahafiz sandbox till the morning. If time permit and convoy response are favorable, we might continue play in morning at monster dunes after fossil rock area, if not we will end and exit.
This area offers a great mix of playable dunes and medium dunes to test your night driving skills. Depending on convoy strength and liking will plan the route to fit everyone's taste and capabilities.

After the last week Fewbie+ to Intermediate level, it's time to have a chilled out and relaxing desert drive in this hot and humid summer. This time we are changing the area to a different route to start from end of Awir and reach the Mahafiz area through desert. You got it right, that we will start from Dubai and end in Sharjah from a desert route enjoying all the dunes on our way.
This area is filled with very broad dunes that are easy to climb and exit, perfect for any newbie to get the hang of desert driving with a pinch of dune bashing. If the convoy response is good we will play in the nearby area at a fewbie level to push the spirit and fun few notches, nothing extreme.
Offroad lights are recommended for a night drive, but if you don't have you can still safely drive with your HIGH BEAM.

Superman is back from his vacation and invites all intermediate level drivers to sign up for this drive. It is going to be fast paced, fun and full of thrills as I have been missing in action for the past 3 weeks.
Area 53 is the most versatile area in the UAE offroading scene, that offers beautiful tall rolling dunes with plenty of opportunities for side slopping, ridge cutting, and long hill climbs.
Any Fewbie who have already had 15 or more drives is also welcome to join. We may promote few fewbie drivers to Intermediate level after this drive, if there driving skills are at par to match the pace.
Promotions based on driving skill set is just the "one aspect" of the grading structure, they also need to follow other points:

Level of drive: Fewbie+ and above
      When: 4 July 2019
Meeting time: 10:00 PM, the convoy will move sharp at 10:15 PM
Where: Badayer Shops at Nazwa, before Madam R/A
      GPS Coordinate: https://goo.gl/maps/GMrTGmx4J5L2
Plan: Night drive through the Pyramids - Area 53 - Iftar bowl - Super Bowl (maybe)
What to bring along: Evening snacks - whatever you like with little extra to share, water, liquids, smiles, stories, and enthusiasm.
      Approximate finish time: 3 AM
