Chirag S.
Thanks for sharing such a good illustrative video. As a newbie thought; · did not deflate tires properly · did not engage 4L · selecting soft sand route i/o other easy route which other cars were preferred Edited December 8, 2019 by Gaurav Quote not required 2

Biggest Mistake- 1.Didn't deflate tyre engage 4L. Do blip blip turn wheels left and right making way. clear sand on wheels and he is out. When he is giving gas other car should support him. he is roaring his engine which make him stay there for whole weekend. i love that Car. Steering wheel is at the wrong side!! What I would have done different: To start with the LC200, -Deflate tires, unload the car (detach the trailer), try to get out first by yourself (4L, all Diff Locks if available on), Check if chassis is free, if not, start shovelling. If possible to get out, make a track by driving forward, backwards to compress the sand. If sure that the car not gets stuck, drive back to pick up the trailer. -If help is needed to get out; ask someone else instead of this dude to snatch you out. Same principle for the tower, before pulling the LC200, deflate tires, make a track before pulling you out. 4 2

I guess the earlier answers have pretty much covered it well. I see the main culprit here being the tires not deflated due to which there is a lot of wheel spin and less traction on the sand.
Brette
Not deflated. Looks like he is making a show for the by standers there kicking up all that sand. Also, with all the sand he has kicked up, it's not the best for the car being recovered as it's being pulled into a trenchmade by Mr. Shirtless. Deflate, multiple slow tugs to get the stuck car moving and then a steady pull without the wheel spin may help. Not to forget the communication to make sure the car being recovered is ready and not sitting on his brakes when the recovery starts.
