Jeep Wrangler eTorque 4Xe - 48 Volt Mild Hybrid with 2.0L 4cyl. Turbo

Aren't we going back in times by 10 years when all car manufacturers were launching hybrid and then changed to all-electric and now going back to hybrid again, next stop all-petrol......?

What do you guys think?

Adding lots of complexity to the mix. But this mix of hybrids will be a common sight until electric completely breaks through.

I guess they will need to put a charging station in the middle of Sweihan and other places 🤣

Think about Liwa buddy, charging station under Tal Moreeb x 500 bay with sleep over tent and toilet.

As battery tech improves its inevitable that there will be more 'innovation' but in the end what I think we need to think about is the impact on power delivery and how it's managed.

Instant torque ... sounds to me like a recipe for digging in to the sand if we are not careful.

Is next development likely after that hydrogen engines?

Chrsyler already tested this system with Ram Rebel. So far results are good. But it is not giving the fuel efficiency that they promised. Check from youtube TFL Truck they bought a Rebel and made a test for 1 year long with it.
