This area is famous for its white sand and will offer a good mix of playable dunes, technical dunes to test your car control. Depending on the convoy level and participation, we might have a quick fewbie level drive after the newbie drive. Level : Newbie and above When: 10 January 2020 Meeting time: 6:45 AM, convoy will move at sharp 7:00 AM Where: Al Qudra Parking GPS Coordinate: https://goo.gl/maps/Ru8v4AiVBHVVeaBU9 Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 10 inches of ground clearance. Plan: Drive, train and enjoy till about 12:00 PM What to bring along: Loads of snacks, plenty of water - whatever you like with little extra to share, water, liquids, smiles, stories, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Gaurav Posted January 9, 2020 Report Share Posted January 9, 2020 Driving in rain here is same as after the rain, means to drive on wet, solid, compacted sand. Lot easier than regular dry sand that even yaris can also drive after the rain. Unless rain is very heavy to impair the visibility, it's all safe and more fun to drive. Make sure gopro, dash cam batteries are charged as recording rainy drive will be awesome to view. Well after few cars crosses on the wet track it might become slightly sticky, so whenever you encounter those churn up track, move 2-3 meter aside to make a parallel track on the fresh sand. Secondly stuck on wet sand is not easy to recover as on dry sand, so on first refusal immediately engage lo gear and move slowly with caution as spinning tires on wet sand will make situation worst very fast. 2 1 2 Let's root for each other & watch each other grow.
