I will be driving a Pajero SWB and I'm new to sand/dune driving but have off-roading experience.

The Pajero has the standard tow hooks installed as per the earlier thread and pics by Frederic. Will these be okay? I there any recommendations one which 2-way radio to use and where to buy those? We do not have any.

Hi Gawie,

The Pajero SWB is a fine vehicle for offroad :) . The standard tow hooks are fine. If you do not have a radio yet for your first drive, that is fine, we have spare one that you can use. When joining from second drive onwards you can buy a radio in Dragon Mart. Have a look at below link for more info on prices:

Just a question. Are we allowed to have a plus one in the vehicle?

No problem. As long as you do not exceed the number of passengers as per the number of seatbelts :)

That's the spirit ! You can't go wrong with the Crony MT777.

Hi All,

Thank you for the info. Very helpful.

Just to let you know I am a newbie, hence do not have the above mentioned (air compressor, radio, flag, etc).

Look forward to our meeting tomorrow and gain a lot of experience and knowledge.

Cheers,

Denver
