For anyone not aware, tomorrow it the Dubai 70.3 Ironman. If you are anywhere in the Jumeira beach area, you probably already know about this. If not ...

The bike ride route is attached - which means anything on and around the route to Al Qudra from the Marina will be closed from early on.

While we all have an early start for drives normally, don't get caught out because it looks like roads will start to close from 5.30am

I have no off road experience

I think vehicle in good condition

Hope you have checked the ground clearance too to be at least 8-10 inches.

If not, you can simply remove the bumper skirt (lower lip) to save at home.

Dear @AbdulBasith

Welcome to Carnity ! Your compressor will come in handy to inflate after the drive. Your rope we won't be needing on your first drive. If you have a tyre deflator and pressure gauge lying around you can bring them. Once you join more often, then a flag, deflator, shovel, and two-way radio will be essential.

Dear Muhammed, No problem we are here to teach you.

Our question with regards to the towpoints is quite important, as we have seen time and time again that people enter the desert with defective, rusted, or even without proper tow points or recovery points. In that case we can't recover the vehicle safely. Please do check and verify if you have towpoints and if they are fixed properly.

Thanks. Did RSVP.

Please be on time by 6:45 AM (Sharp), as we understand that sometime 5-10 minutes delay is unavoidable and that's why we always factor 15 mins buffer in every drive.

Stretching this 15 minutes buffer further is extremely rude to all other member's time who are respecting each other time.

Secondly briefing is must for everyone to attend at ALL LEVELS, even if you have attended already few times.
