after test driving couple of Xterras today i found really good one. its 2010 off-road version vehicle is very clean and not abused in desert.  kind request from all Xterrians and our seniors, what are the major things to look for when buying an Xterra.

Thank you in advance.

@Rizwanm2 make sure the gear shifting is proper from 1-3 and you don't feel any shift shock and SMOD. These were the common issue which i found when i was searching for X but i end up in paying more for overhauling the engine :(

Thanks everyone for advices. Finally I didnt  close the deal and walked away happily after seeing this.

10 accident history 1 with multi vehicle collision 😬

For my surprise this is one of cleanest and best driving condition vehicle I test drove in my recent hunt for xterra.

Lesson learned eyes can be very much desieving. There are so many things we can't see to our naked eyes. 😱

@Rizwanm2That was a close call 😅

How did you get the report?

You can get uae accident history (if there is a police report) in these 3 websites by searching with the vehicle’s  VIN Number.

1.https://evg.ae/_layouts/evg/trafficaccidents.aspx?language=en

2.https://es.adpolice.gov.ae/TrafficServices/PublicServices/AccidentsInquiry.aspx?Culture=en&mode=update

3.https://portal.moi.gov.ae/eservices/PublicServices/AccidentsInquiry.aspx?Culture=en

Google can give you more details if US/Canada Vehicles & https://www.salvagedb.com/ can also provide information for US/Canada imports to an extend.

These are the links to check vehicles accident history. I think it only provide accident reports filed by SAEED in Abu Dhabi or sharjah. I checked lot of vins in these sites but did not see any accident reports from Dubai.

I guess that’s why he didn’t want to let you do pre purchase inspection. Paint depth indicator would pick it up straight away.

yes exactly.
