Hey

I drive a 2020 Nissan Patrol, Super Safari, 2 door, stick shift

I do have prior offroad experience on daily friday drives but that was almost 15 years ago....... and then the casual beach and barbecue drives. But im afraid ive lost touch and probably some guts &)

I can bring a radio as we use them for work so we have quite a few

Will be bringing deflator, guage, tow strap and compressor. For flag and shovel if possible yes; but certainly next drive onwards

I have 1 front recovery hook. Have replaced the back with a hitch receiver but I will put the original pintle hook back. So then we should be good with front and rear points.

Thanks @Kaushal Prithwani for all the info, yes pintle hook is much better and safer for off-road recoveries than the tow ball (extremely risky).

Thanks @DeepakADS I remember seeing you with Islam and looking forward to seeing you now on driver seat. Please make sure your Ram has front and rear tow points and not tow ball at back. If it doesn't you might need hitch receiver shackle like this with 4-5 ton rating.

Hi @RAKIN KURIAKOSE I have to remove your RSVP from Absolute Newbie drive as this drive is solely reserved for absolute first timer with Carnity off-road club.

Moving forward, you may join Newbie drives. There are 3 newbie drives for coming Friday.

Dear Gurav, i drive a 2 door Jeep Wrangler sport. I am kind a new to desert driving and yes my car does have front and rear towpoints. Also, I went looking for a radio in car shops around dubai but couldn’t find find, is it really necessary, if yes any suggestions?

You have to go to Dragon Mart 1 to buy radios. They are available in many shops in the BA section of the mall.
