@GD27 and @Pacific i understand your points, but recoveries (however hard they are or long they take) are sometimes a part of an Offroad drive, and this Absolute Newbie drive is designed with a longer briefing specifically tailored for new joiners.

The Newbie level drives are only slightly more paced (10-20%) based on the convoy response so don't be worried about the lack of drive experience.

As you have both done the Absolute Newbie drive, you are now considered Newbies and eligible for Newbie level drives, not the Absolute Newbie drive anymore. If the existing Newbie drives are full please send a message on that drive topic with the request to be put in the waitlist. I will remove you both from the RSVP list now.

Absolutely, but be aware that without any prior off-road experience this might cause a distraction for you. Also make sure everyone wears the seatbelts at all times.

If it's your absolutely first time in sand, then we highly recommend to drive alone to avoid any distractions.

From second drive onward you are fine to join with friends and family.

HI Gaurav, I took Dessert Driving Masterclass ( with Mr, Rahimdad) on 27th Feb and did around 26-28 km. So I think it should be fine.

1) Which 4x4 are you bringing ?

2) Any prior offroading experience ? If so where and what ?

3) Please confirm your 4x4 has front and rear towpoints that are in perfect condition

 

For your first drive, you would only need a pressure gauge, tyre deflator, and a compressor (the Qudra petrol station compressor is out of service).

1. I'm driving a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited

2. Some experience on Snow, Ice, and Gravel in Lebanon and the US. Very limited experience on Sand in Saudi Arabia.
