She is beautiful Adib!! Cant wait to see her!

You are looking for hooks man, something we can pull you out with if you are stuck in the desert. Do you see anything we can tie a rope or hook to?

@Adib Samara from the above video, it looks like your Defender is very similar to the Discovery Sport. In the rear its just a loop that you can screw in, and in the front you'll need to unscrew the bottom plastic fascia to expose the central front towpoint.

Hi @Shynil Hashim and @Frederic, the R50 comes with tie down point for recovery and not with the tow hooks. You'll need to check with a turning shop on installing proper rated tow hooks with rated nuts and bolts. If this point breaks it is going to be dangerous and costly repair job.

Hello Eveybody,

I'm new here and would like to join the ride,

I have 2019 Patrol PLT V8. I don't have much experience, but driven the car few times in Al Qudra.

Wonderful to see you're pretty well equipped already. You can bring all your offroad gears.

To program the radio you can follow below instructions which also mentions the channels we are using:

A big warm welcome to Carnity Offroad Club !

Kindly introduce yourself with the following info:

1) Which 4x4 are you bringing ?

2) Any prior off-roading experience ? If so where and what ?

3) Please confirm your 4x4 has front and rear towpoints that are in perfect condition

For your first drive, you would only need a pressure gauge, tyre deflator, and a compressor (the Qudra petrol station compressor is out of service).

Please have a look at the Absolute Newbie briefing video posted in this topic:

MUST WATCH: NEWBIE VIDEO BRIEFING

And you will find more information about the various Offroad tools here:

Do not hesitate to ask your questions here !

Best regards,

Frederik
