Clay Neddo
Thanks @Emmanuel I have a fair bit of off road experience, but very little in sand. So...it will probably work against me. I cannot confirm the recovery points just yet as my vehicle is in the shop. It is a 2010 Pajero lwb.... so I assume it has. I will confirm tomorrow.
Emmanuel
@Haris Ruzdic, welcome to Carnity. I see on your profile that you drive a Nissan Pathfinder. Could you let me know if it’s the classic Pathfinder (R51) or the new shape (R52)? Could you also tell me: 1. Do you have any prior off-road experience? 2. Can you confirm your vehicle has front and rear towhooks / eyelets in good working condition?
Haris Ruzdic
Good morning Emmanuel, thanks for welcome note. Yes i drive Nissan Pathfinder, its R52. It has both front and back towing eyelets and they seems in good condition. I bought car recently and dont have offroad experience whatsoever. Would it be ok if i dont have compressor (this weekend only) yet as i'm not sure that i will have enough time to go to dragonmart to buy one till this Friday?
Clay Neddo
Unfortunately my car is still in the shop. I was just informed that I will not get it back in time for this drive. I will sign up for next week.

Please check and confirm if your Pathfinder has a minimum of 8 inches of ground clearance at front and back bumper. It is mandatory for all 4X4/SUV/AWD vehicles. 1 Let's root for each other & watch each other grow.
Emmanuel
Unfortunately it’s less than 8 inches. We just talked with Haris now. Sorry @Haris Ruzdic. Hope to see you with a new ride soon...
Adam James
Hi everyone! I have very limited experience in driving off road before (a few trips to the Al Qudra Lakes). I also confirm that I have both front and rear tow hooks. Look forward to meeting you all on Friday morning. Adam

Adam James
Unfortunately I spotted a coolant leak this afternoon so I’ve had to take the car into the workshop and won’t be able to make tomorrow’s drive. Gutted! Hopefully see you next week
