How to connect extra lights on F150 without "drilling" bumper and/or car-body

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am keen to see if anybody has installed some extra lights on F150 and how that was done...

I am looking for a solution without car-body and/or bumper drilling...

@Shehab Alawadhi, I saw you had some extra lights coming out of the engine hood (near the windshield).. do you have a picture to see how are they attached to the car? :)

thank you all!

One of the options is to get these magnetic pads. I have them and they work great:

@Ivan Pironi you can get brackets made that are installed under the hood, a lot of off-road garages make them. Im not sure about magnetic mounts as @Frederic mentioned I've never used them.

(ill send a video when I get home of how it was installed on my car)

that looks cool! my only worry would be if they "scratch the paint"... no??? how do you power them? do you wire them via cigarette lighter plug or direct connection to the batter?

Thank you!

If you make sure the pads are clean and your car is clean when installing, there will be no scratches. Removing them is also easy if you push sideways they will come loose.

You can wire everything up and bring it to your engine bay, and use a quick connector plug:
