@Wade Pat2 @Fabien Monleau @Thomas Varghese @Gok Krish

You are all confirmed for the drive. Looks life we will have a short convoy, which is going to be a lot of fun.

The plan is set out from Murquab, get to the track which is cut in between technical area. We can drive with a good pace through the track.

Once we are across the murquab section, we will move to lisaily, where we find some nice long dunes and practice ridge riding until sunset. After sunset we shall drive to Solar Park which will be the end point for the drive.

Looking forward to have a nice drive with you all.

Thanks @Kailasfor a great drive with a great balance of individual practice and convoy driving learn as you go.  Thanks @Gok Krishfor choosing good lines for me to follow and allowing me to learn by watching. Thanks@Chaitanya D  for the advice during refusals. Thanks @Rob H for the help during refusals and the pull during my crest. I will figure out why diff lock stopped working for next time.

 I wanted to move up in rank to try a Fewbie drive up before my extended leave home. I couldn't have asked for a better drive. See you all in a few months. Only mud and grass where I am going.

Will upload videos and post link tomorrow for anyone who would like to view.

Great drive @Kailas. Hope I did ok as a 2nd lead. Still figuring out how to follow a Wrangler in a Xterra. Wranglers have a very good linear torque and can power up from anywhere whereas Xterra driver has to keep the momentum going when climbing or else get crested or have a refusal. The balance is very critical and very difficult when following a Wrangler. Sorry to have come close to you during climbs by not giving you enough time to warn me but I think I could wriggle out of the situations except for once when I got bridged when coming down. Thanks for pulling me out. Xterra simply cannot power up like a wrangler after losing momentum on a climb and I couldn't break the momentum so had to keep going up & up when following @Kailas and sometimes had to come close.

Overall the convoy was good at negotiating the challenges without much stucks or refusals which made me experienced drivers reflect back on our newbie, fewbie days and feel ashamed about those times. The new fewbies did amazingly well for the difficult terrain. Thanks @Rob H for a great center forward and what should I comment about our most experienced sweep @Chaitanya D. Every time @Chaitanya D has new things to teach me. With @Chaitanya D learning never stops.

Looking forward for more drives with all of you in the future.
