Good afternoon @Jason Grima @SUNIL KUMAR @Yogesh Kumar and welcome to Carnity Offroad Club !

I am looking forward to meeting you all coming Friday morning. In the meantime please send a small introduction here below with the following:

1) Which 4x4 are you driving ?

2) Do you have any prior offroading experience ? If so please indicate where and what..

3) Is your 4x4 equipped with front and rear towpoints ? This is a necessity and they should be in perfect condition.

For your first offroad drive it's sufficient to bring a pressure gauge and tire deflator so you can deflate your tires before heading into the sand. If you have more offroad tools please also bring them along. A compressor to inflate your tyres will also be necessary as we are exiting near a petrol station that has no compressor.

Please watch the below Absolute Newbie briefing video below as this contains all the essential information to prepare yourself for your first offroad drive:

Hello,

Looking forward to Friday. :)

1) I have a 2021 Jeep Rubicon which is fairly new. Before this I’ve practiced main on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sports Willys Edition.

2) I’ve been on a few basic lessons with friends. Over 10 bbq nights which required some basic dune driving but I’m looking to become more confident and understand the best way to use my jeep to its full potential safely while having some fun.

3) tow hooks equipped and ready to go !

thanks again for the following info.

best

Jason

HI Vanessa,

I'm driving a Ford Raptor Roush.

I have some off-roading experience in sand and mountain but much more on motorbike than with 4X4. I went a few times with my 4X4 in the desert but I still need more practice that's the reason why I'm joining the club :)

Yes, the Ford is equipped with front and rear towpoints

Looking forward meeting you,

Best Regards,

Brahim.

Hi Vanessa,

Yesterday I bought Safety Flag (60 AED), Tire Guage (25 AED) and Boafeng UV-5R (70 AED) from Dragon Mart.

Still Air Compressor is pending and I am not sure which one to buy.. 🤔 Please suggest.

Excited and waiting for this drive.

Regards,

Yogi

Hi Yogi

In regards of the compressor, it depends what your budget is ....

You can buy the Camel in dragon mart for about 250 dhs or the Mean Mother for 750 dhs in Ravonauto in Al Quoz. Adventure HQ and ACE have some other models too but I have no experience with these ones.

You have also more expensive ones like the ARB compressor for 1200 dhs and more.

I hope this helps a bit.

See you tomorrow
