Skid plate

I’m looking to put a skid plate on my Nissan Patrol Super Safari. I’m wondering where you suggest I go in Dubai, what thickness do people usually get, also I got one quote that was AED 3500 with labor for a 3 mm skid plate is that fair? Seemed high to me. Thanks!

That sounds expensive @Super Safari Girl.  I am attaching two pictures of the one I've got in my car, it is a 10mm thick plate, you can see the pain it has taken  

Do a quick internet search for "patrol y61 skid plate", you will get interesting results that will help you in your decision.

I’m not sure if skid plates can come removable, Nissan said they won’t honor the Warranty if I made any modifications. I’ll have to sneak it off for servicing 😅

It could be argued that the plate helps protect vital parts such as the radiator.  The term "modifications" is broad, perhaps they can explain (over an e-mail preferably) what specific modifications they refer to.

Hello everyone, 

I am planning to get below skid plate installed on my pathfinder R51. Can anyone pls advice if the holes as shown for cooling will be sufficient or do I need to add more holes or enlarge some of them.
