@Fredericthanks for the reply, is absolute newbie required even after completing master class..?

Hi @Hilal Sharafudeen i was not aware of that.

If you have a programmed radio, flag, deflator, and shovel, which are the mandatory items for Newbie level, then you can start joining Newbie drives.

See you soon in the sand !

Hey everyone! Really excited for this drive, I've got one tiny little problem though. I've got all the necessary newbie equipment (radio, air compressor, deflator, enthusiasm) except for a desert flag. I drive a 2006 LWB Pajero so I think I'd have to get something fabricated, right? (that's what an off-roading garage I called up told me)

Turns out most of them are closed for Eid so I don't have a way to mount a flag. Are there any alternative ways to securely attach the flag? I'm aware of the suction cups that you can stick onto your windows, and I guess that'll be my last resort if I can't figure something out. Thought I'd ask the experts before making a decision.

Cheers!

Don't worry @jerzen you can join without a flag.
