This drive is organized in full compliance with the COVID19 guidelines. We expect every member that joins this drive to go through below information and and strictly follow these guidelines in order not to jeopardize someone's health, and to ensure we can keep organizing these drives safely.

Drive Details

Level:  Newbie and Above (All Levels)

When:  3 Sep 2021, Friday.

Meeting time: 06:00 AM (SHARP - Without any exceptions)

Meeting Point: Margham https://goo.gl/maps/J8ANQqsgYVLnjTEn6

Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance.

What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, face mask, rubber gloves, enthusiasm, willingness to learn and your own compressor for tire inflation.

Approximate finish time: 10:00 AM

End Point: Lisaili

Limited Spots Available:

• Limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on Thursday - 9 AM.
  • If the RSVP is full and you wish to join, please mention your name on the drive thread to add on the waiting list. 
• Latecomers will be returned back - without ANY EXCEPTIONS.
• Members without RSVP will be returned back - without ANY EXCEPTIONS.
• Please withdraw your RSVP, if you aren't joining, so your spot can be taken by others.
• Repeated no-show members after RSVP will have their account suspended for a month.

HI All, 

Myself and @Islam Soliman look forward to your company on our drive on Friday. 

What to expect? A challenging, soft sand landscape with some of the most beautiful sand that we have in the area. 

You'll be challenged on this drive, because the dunes are a little unpredictable and because the route to pass through makes you climb, descend and traverse in ways that for a Newbie will be novel or more technical than what you have experienced before - especially if you just did your Absolute Newbie last week!

Why Margham? It will be a chance to try some small bowls, some longer descents, to practice driving over crests and enjoy some flowing undulating landscapes that range from sabkhas to ridges and everything in between. 

Bring your A game with you and enjoy the fun.

Hi Enrico, 

Can't promise you 2nd lead. The convoy order will be set by me closer to the drive. But yes, I hope to take you out of your comfort zone a little. The idea is to give you the opportunities to learn. Safely.
