car exploded when charging another car

when i was recharging another car with my car battery the battery suddenly exploded and i switched off the car

now before i switch it on again i need to know what all could have been damaged

one thing for sure is the battery

Have you put negative and positive sides in same sides in other car.

If not it may explod the battery but before that it shud melt away the jumper cable in seconds and catch fire in cable.

In any event if it was short circuit, as explain above you must be looking at some blown fuses and relays with battery. And also the electrical things in your car that was on while charging could have been affected too, like headlights, radio, AC, AC blower, hazard etc.
