Repair of side view glass

Hi

My explorer's side view driver mirror( complete assembly) is damaged( someone hit it while parked).Instead of replacing it I am thinking about getting it repaired as the bottom part of assembly is bit open however the glass is fine and assembly is still in working condition . Any suggestion where should I get this repaired from? The new one cost around 1800 aed.

I am afraid, not many things get repaired in Dubai unlike our home country. You can definitely give a try with body shop guys who do the denting and painting jobs, if they can fix it for less. That's the only option you get with a very little chance, but worth trying as oppose to 1800 dirhams.
