is this car good for sand offroading

this CR-V is a gift i received from my inlaws and i dnt knw anything about it. it is a 2010 CR-V which looks like a mean machine so as i was saying i want to know is this car good for the desert as i was thinking of starting off sand roading drives

please give me an honest opinion as i dont want the car in 2 parts nor do i want it not to go to reach its potential

for occasional use in mild sands for camping is fine.

DO NOT GO DUNE BASHING, tranny will heat up and u might break bumpers too. Its not an offroader its a softroader SUV for beach and wadi's.

I dont agree, i have taken CRV two times in sand and its amazing there. Drive like a charm.
