What was your worst car problem ever happened?

Please share what was your worst car problem ever happened? Why and how it happened (if you know)? And how you dealt with it?

Car went for major service and came back after 7 days. As mechanic was not able to find and fix one electrical issue, it took him 5 days with help of experience other mechanic from neighbors to solve that riddle. Before service everything was fine and when they finished major service and start the car all inside interior light get on. When they switch off car everything turns off (exact opposite behaviour). It was quite unexplanable to me and mechanic that we started beleiving there is ghost in my car. lololol.
