INFINITI - Nissan?

I didn't really have much to do today so I was browsing the internet about Infiniti when I noticed something about Nissan Infiniti.

I am not really sure but when I went into Nissan's website, I saw the infiniti brand there:

Can anyone explain why Infiniti shows under the nissan brand? Is it a tie-up or something?

As far as I have understood it. Infiniti is actually a division of Nissan. Infiniti for Nissan is their Luxury cars brand. So the reason why Inifiniti is so much elegant and comfortable is because it is literally Nissan's name for luxury.

You are correct they do in fact own each other. Sometimes will they do cross promotional campaigns when drumming up interest in a new vehicle. Websites do the same thing sometimes. Partner up for campaigns. It's actually pretty common.
