Trouble in Cruise Control!

The cruise control is not maintaining a constant speed of the car. I feel really scary sometimes specially when I am driving Speedy on highway. Can anyone tell me why is it happening?

may be the fuse of the cruise control system is blown off! Generally the power supplied to cruise control system gets fused when there is short or overload electrical supply. You can check with the garage if the fuse is blown off

No. I recently got my car checked. The fuse is working fine. Can there be any other problem?

You need to take care of the brake pedal switch. Please check if the brake pedal switch is broken or mistrusted. Sometimes that can also be the reason why cruise control system does not maintain a constant speed.

Also, VSS(Vehicle speed sensor) sometimes does not respond. take you car to the service center and ask the professionals to check both of these: VSS and brake pad switch. I suppose either of these are not responding.
