Can anyone tell me what's the role of coolant reservoir in a car? Thank you

Colant reservoir is a very important coolant component in the car. Coolant reservoir stores the excessive coolant which is not required in the coolant. It reserves the coolant and whenever the engine is hot, the coolant from the reservoir is pressured out into the radiator. And when the system cools down, the coolant is pushed back into the reervoir.

But don't forget to take proper care of coolant reservoir. If the coolant in your engine starts leaking, it affects the reservoir as well. Sometimes it is not possible fix it and thus one has to get it replaced. So take care about it. Dont let any kind of leaking in the car system affect the coolant reservoir, otherwise maintenance cost sometimes disturb your whole budget.
