The ticking noise you hear can be eliminated via a short block replacement due to pistons and cylinder walls being out of alignment. Check it out. At least you won't need an engine replacement. alila Posted October 7, 2013 Author Report Share Posted October 7, 2013 GOOD NEWS EVERYBODY!!! One of my employees found a TSB that addresses this as a "ticking" noise related to a faulty camshaft. On top of that, I checked with Al futtaim and they confirmed that the repair is covered under my drive-train warranty. I am delirious!!
