misfiring in cylinder

there is a code i have in my car which says misfiring in cylinder 2 how do i know which one is it, if i take it to the workshop how will they check i am scared that they may charge me more then what is required any ideas how much will it cost me if replaced a cylinder

get the compression test, to reconfirm the fult. In cylinder 2 there shud be lower pressure than 100 or other cylinder then it will confirm the fault.

For fixng defintely go to GOOD PLACE only as opening head and cylinder is not easy and quick fix. nd also make sure u get quality consumable parts for this change. If you are there its better to open and check and clean remain all cylinder and valve and injectors too. Good luck.
