replacing the gear box

As i have to get my entire gear box replaced and which is costing me a fortune to get the original Brand new i had a look in the scrapyard before spending my hard earned cash and i found the exact same thing there original costing me half the price

should i go 4 the 2nd hand in this case or brand new.

as this is a gear box issue i need some advise please

Gear box often time 7 out of 10 times can be repairable by rebuild. Only sometimes rebuild cost more than second hand used one from scrap.

Try showing your gear issue to DEXOL and see if they can rebuild it in lesser than scrap one cost. If not get the scrap one from japanes import as they are less driven cars and it will work forever.
