Why the engine of my car is locked?

Recommended Posts

Sorry Razak, but it sounds like you toasted your engine :o .

Just kidding !

Black smoke is carbon rich fuel. Basically unburnt fuel coming out of your exhaust. Maybe its just a (or more) cylinders not firing. Check your plugs, and then your ignition coils. I had a similar problem a while back. Also, if the MAF sensor (mounted on the air intake) goes bad, the motor wont turn over.

Hope this helps.

Actually speaking if your car overheated and stalled then im sure you have toasted your engine. Same happen with my friend who drive Ford, as he ignored small leak in radiator one day that leak agravate and on business bay his car stalled as he didnt paid attn to heat gauge and finally his engine is fried. He still find cheaper ways to rebuilt it.
