Jas Dubai is definetly cheaper than other Porsche specialist as mentioned by jdrdxb, however ARM and House of cars are true specialist in Porsche and Jas Dubai cant really beat that in terms of technical knowledge and number of experience under the belt. Been and worked with all three and speaking my experience.

I find the same with lots of companies. The companies have been around for many years but the people who are actually skilled and doing the work are limited. So many companies have many years experience, not all the staff do, and you hope to get the good guy on your car (or whatever service you are paying for). I understand one of the guys at Jas is ex Ali and Sons, and also ex House of Cars so he has experience. I like to believe you get what you pay for, but so often you dont. - or maybe i just have bad selection process in Dubai in previously paying top prices and being dissapointed. You have to watch everybody doing everything.!

Thought I might give my 2 cents worth. Having experienced something akin to extortion and or fraud from Alex Renner (including a car returned with damage to the rear engine cover and a broken engine case) - where if I was in the UK I would have instructed solicitors and taken him to court - I searched around and, via a number of different sources was referred to Shaju @ Jas Motors. I think from a past experience Shaju is a fully qualified Porsche mechanic, like Nabooda / Alex Renner and the like he does have mechanics however, unlike said Renner (an ex-floor guy rather than mechanic) Shaju does do the work on the cars. In terms of pricing, it's a porsche so I think we all know what we're in for when we bought the car, but what I like is that he doesn't 1) replace parts that are fine, 2) inflate parts prices, 3) is someone you can talk to who actually understands the mechanical workings of cars and 4) will put in to place a schedule of maintenance allowing you to progress in using the car and the parts instead of 1) above. I've recommended Shaju to 4 of my friends - all previously used Alex Renner - and there have been no complaints. Would recommend again. I also take my jeep cherokee there.

Would take it with a grain of salt - any garage reports by folks who have just a few posts under their belt just don't count in my book. There are garages with big claims and poor workmanship quality/culture all over the world. It's effing hard to find a proper one and stick with it - they tend to change over time - get cocky or ignorant at some point when they think they've won you as a loyal customer.

Couldn't agree any better, Milen. Real word of wisdom coming out of experience. I do feel exactly same as you said and I always wonder that when they bite they don't realize that they are going to loose regular customer or they are under ignorance or attitude problem of being overly successful that they don't need regular customer now and happy to rip new walk-in customers.....!
