leaking car

there was a leak below my car, when checking i found that the leak was from timing belt housing but not sure how to get it repaired so i went to the mechanic and he said that the timing belt needs to be changed

now what dose a belt have to do with the leak was out of my head

need a second opinion please

Go get second opinion, timing belt never dies and result in leaking. It has slipping and starting issue and if its already bad your car wont start.

Mechanic need some work so he is changing timing belt, most expensive maintenance in whole car.

All it cud be engine oil sump seal is gone and he is showing you different story.
