Wheel Alignment

Yes you can do it, but make sure you have done the wheel alignment before or atleast try to take help from an expert. You can do as follows:

Firstly, you need to keep the front wheels of your car on jack stands. After doing that, activate you power steering by turning the car key to the ignition, but DO NOT switch on the car. Before starting, make sure that the steering wheel is at the center. To check the alignment you can use a straight broom. You need to adjust the broom in such a way that it’s between the fender edges of the wheel. Hold the broom properly and it will help you knowing the direction of the wheel pointing to. Either the wheels will be pointing inward or outward. Inward means that it is pointing towards the center of the car. Id f that’s the case, tightening the outer tie rod will help in aligning the wheel to the normal position. If it’s outward positioned, you need to loosen up the outer tie rod. Then move your wheel to the left, right and center position and check if it is aligned properly. Repeat the same procedure to the other frn end wheel. Not forget to tighten the tie rod before you finish. Take your car for the drive and check if the alignment is proper or not.
