I have been involved for 8 years with Emarat4x4 and Dubai and Sharjah Municipality for the Desert Cleaning campaigns and it is a shame that people do not understand the etiquette. Besides going out on regular Clean Up drives and making sure to keep a garbage bag in the vehicle so that we can leave only our footprints behind, our team has tried to educate people as well. Whenever we see something being thrown out of a vehicle we approach them and ask them to pick up their trash and offer our garbage bag hoping that kindness will change their ways. In some cases some rude people refuse to pick up their own trash so we make sure to pick it up in front of them and try to make them realize that throwing garbage out of the car is not acceptable. Unfortunately, I have been witness to a painful death of a camel who swallowed a plastic mineral water bottle, we could not do anything but watch that painful death. Emarat4x4 have been actively participating in the community service and have conducted and supported drives to clean up the desert to save environment and especially camels that die by consuming plastic trash left by us humans. This time a renowned Dubai organization HILTI have initiated this noble cause and have requested Emarat4x4 to collaborate in this event and extend logistical support. Maintaining our commitment to keep desert clean and have our share to provide a cleaner environment to our society we have agreed to extend the required support. We are conducting a desert cleanup drive on the 18th NOVEMBER 2016. HILTI's staff will be actively participating in this event and we expect around 70 people from HILTI and we would require around 15-20 Marshalls from Emarat4x4 to provide the logistical support. As usual, Dubai Municipality have been very kind to us and have once again confirmed their support and would be present at this event. HILTI would provide Gloves, Trash Bags and Co-Branded car stickers (Hilti/E4x4). As a responsible community member, it is our utmost duty to come forward and support this event. I think oil and filters are too messy and dangerous for beginner to start with. How about changing the light bulbs, checking the busted fuse and changing it, changing the spark plugs etc.

Generally speaking yes. even condensor can be converted to water cool for better cooling. But there are other things to tackle. Mechanical fitting of new condensor High air flow for bigger condensor Matching of peessure losses That is the reason i said some car designs are superb as they properly maintain super heat and sub cooling. while other cars just maintain fuel ratio only. Same bad car will give u superb cooling in winter with the same compresor because it can reject heat easily in winter time. With kind regards.

@Ak I bought this Trail Blazer for my wife, who uses for mall run with one kid, so most important part for us was the safety and strength of this vehicle should be good. I have been told from my colleague whose sister crashed her TB and jumped on round about by smashing 2 cars at the speed of 60 and literally nothing happened to the car. Last month my wife got hit from back and again TB strength put to display that only tow hook got little paint of other car, and nothing happen to TB. We didn't even claimed the insurance for green paper as there was only hairline crack in the bumper paint. For the drive comfort me and my wife absolutely LOVE IT. It's comfort is second to Range Rover in my car owning history, although it doesnt have EAS, but it glides extremely smooth on highway. I think it has a torsion rod suspension, which is better than coil springs anyday. Only thing I didn't like was the mop quality fabric seats, I guess it's may be because ours is the lowest option. So we got whole custom upholstery done from my friend's shop in Ajman and it costed us 800 dhs (I think). For the servicing side, when I got this TB 4-5 months got the whole car service from Liberty (Shj) outside facility including the gear oil and filter change with check and top-up on all diff and 4x4 oil's costed me roughly 1000 dhs. If I remember correctly major cost was gear oil change close to 500-600 as it is done once in 40,000 Kms. Since then there was nothing else spent on maintenance, other than the gear shifter cable broke. I accidentally ordered the cable and have to buy it too for 175 dhs, as after @Barry creative and permanent solution I don't think I will ever need that cable again.

You can use the same freon , know the inlet and out let , and better feed the freon from discharge towards the in take (reverse order) , so that u can expel things out , instead of pushing them more deeper. hope this helps having said that , the practical work is not as simple as it looks in writings. Do it all on your own risk , as one must be well experienced in handling Freon and gases. use proper gears and tools , freon is not user friendly and can give you frost bite or can even blind some one. Nitrogen can be used as well , that is a bit safer. regards

Its not the compressor which is getting hotter in summer and u face less cooling. It is because in high temperature you can not shift heat easily from inside of the car to out side of the car via condensor (heat exchanger). Many models have super design and this heat is not a problem , but some make and models really perform bad in summer. Properly cleaning the fins can increase the cooling better. Regards
