  4. Rory Gallagher - Shinkicker. One of the best blues/boogie guitarists that ever lived https://youtu.be/GazzTFxXGeE Gary Moore - Out in the fields. Another brilliant guitarist and a nice anti war song https://youtu.be/Nt06PFWkJ1I Thin Lizzy - The boys are back in town. Even Metallica covered them https://youtu.be/quyB8PMTD3o Therapy? - Nowhere. Punk/metal crossover. Became famous for being mixed religion which was taboo at the time. Also opened for Metallica https://youtu.be/5Bcpj-q0Snc Cranberries - Zombie. Deep lyrics you can only understand if you grew up in the occupied part of Ireland. https://youtu.be/6Ejga4kJUts U2 - I still haven’t found what I’m looking for. Song about trying to find god. I don’t get all the hate bono receives. https://youtu.be/e3-5YC_oHjE In the more folk side we have, The Pogues - Dirty old town https://youtu.be/s11BuatTuXk Christy Moore - Ride On https://youtu.be/8J-X0TBZ0sM The Dubliners - Rocky road to dublin https://youtu.be/C1W8KKPmlm4 Then there’s a whole other subset of traditional folk music where they praise the IRA The Wolfe Tones - Come out you Black and Tans. This was a huge meme in Ireland last year https://youtu.be/ORifieiZiP4 Barleycorn - The men behind the wire https://youtu.be/CmpTVe1DrsI Im lucky. I came from a country with a lot of diverse musical history. If I wasn’t fixing cars for a living, I’d probably be sitting in a bar somewhere tonight playing guitar. Music is life.

  6. As for my ride, it would be the comfort, the street cred and respect from other plebeian road users and then knowing it's just at home and capable off the road or in front of a swanky 7 star hotel.

  7. Well there has been a kit available for the JK for as long as it has been out to convert it into a pickup. The company just now picked up on this.

  15. I been to al qudra lake few times, but never in evening or late hours. Anyone know what are the al qudra lake visiting time and how late we can be there. I have a sportage, but I never went to al qudra lake location in my car, do you guys think will it be ok or I need to go with my friends 4x4 to access through al qudra desert?

  16. Qudra lake Gets really crowded at night. Bring your GPS because you can reallly get lost between the lakes with the car. Stay in the normal track road. A 2wd doesn’t need much to get stuck.

  17. I will try in night now 😈

  18. There are no time restrictions for Al Qudra. To access the lake a sedan would do as long as you stick to the track. There is a track from last exit till the lakes without touching the desert.

  22. Periodically check your spare Tyre. Recently in one of my cars I had a flat and when I checked the spare Tyre (which had not been used for the last 10 years), I realised that was flat as well. 😋

  23. If your total exceeds 60$ then the order usually comes within a week or 10 days. If normal delivery it doesn't take more than 2 weeks. But you need to give a PO Box number. They dont deliver to home. So you can give your office po box. I have ordered many items. Many times if the order was damaged i got the refund as well. They are very particular about the positive reviews of customers.

  27. 32psi should be fine. Don’t worry about your spare tyre. The rubber might degrade a bit over time but if covered properly it will last longer.

  28. Thanks @Frederic Drive wise. Im a safe driver, maintenance, i follow schedule as recommended. Tire Pressure as my prado manual it is 29 PSI front and 32 PSI rear. But i have increased to 32 PSI on all 5 (Including spare tire). Shall i increase it to 35 PSI? will it be safe? to increase from the recommended level? Also my spare tire is the one came with new car. it is 2015 manufactured unused/not even cover was removed. Is it safe to keep it as spare tire or better to change? My driving pattern is quite safe(I may call it over relaxed 😂 ). If speed is 80 kmph my cruising speed will be around 75 kmph.

  29. And if you have the patience drive at 90-100 km per hour. You will get really good mileage. On my Pajero 3.8 LWB, I get a mileage of 10.5 - 11 litre per 100 km when I drive in a relaxed manner

  30. 13l is quite normal for a 4.0 V6. My 3.8 Pajero is guzzling around 14l per 100 km. To save a bit on fuel you can: 1) Drive smart: By "reading" the traffic properly you can anticipate and react smoothly. I see so many people revving up like crazy, and then breaking again 100 meters further on the speed bump. 2) Use Cruise Control whenever possible. 3) Keep your tyres properly inflated. 35psi and have a weekly check at the petrol pump or with your gauge if you have one. 4) Do not skip on proper maintenance. Get injectors cleaned and/or replaced whenever advised by your workshop.

  31. Re-verified the range of 1100 kms in full tank. It is meant for diesel prado which consume around 9 L for every 100 kms. The range which i mentioned of around 870 kms is in line with petrol version prado which drinks around 13 L for every 100 kms 🤨 .

  32. Spare tire is on rear door. Meaning it has a double tank? Now im confused about the distance to empty reading now. Why is it showing around 870 kms range?
    1 point
  33. If your spare Tyre is located below the vehicle it's a single tank. If it's on the rear door it's a double tank

  34. Experts! Need information to update self. I did a full tank in my prado. Range after full tank as per information cluster is 871 kms (Note - It was still holding 70%-75% of the fuel when i refueled to full tank). Does it means this is the maximum i can get after a full tank. I read somewhere prado has a range of 1100 kms on full tank. Im confused now. How to check fuel tank capacity whether it is 87 Liters of single tank or 150 liters of double tank version.

  36. WOW! What a day! It was my first drive as a newbie, the day was started with the struggle to reach the meeting point due to fog but I was on time. David helped me to remove my rear bumper. The brief from the Rahim and Gaurav was fantastic and all my questions were answered with lots of information about the safety, desert driving, and the car. All the marshalls were amazingly monitored every driver from the front and back, correct them as required. at one point, I was unable to clear and got stuck. I was about to recall the brief, what to do next? but from the blink of an eye, I saw Gaurav behind me start giving instructions and I was out peacefully.👍 Everyone was very helpful and ready to do their part, we ended with a fantastic breakfast which was my 2nd time in the day :) the only thing missing was the Karak chai. (i will bring next time) I have learned a lot of things and will definitely be a part of this family. :) And finally, the hug from Rahim bhai was very special.:) 👍 "you all guys are amazing" Stay Blessed! Ghalib
