Bringing passengers is ok provided they will not be a cause for distraction and don't have known motion sickness or fear of heights. 6- Please ensure everything in the car is tied down and no moving objects 7- Please check all car fluids, tow hooks, and ensure no hanging parts below the chassis. 8- please ensure you come with a full tank (as much as possible) in addition to all necessary gear for this drive level specially your safety flag and radio (NO FLAG or RADIO = NO DRIVE) 9. Please find the final plan and convoy list for tomorrow's EPIC Grand Iftar Drive. We will be having 4 convoys and the core objective of all convoys is to reach Iftar Bowl as soon as possible to secure an area where we can accommodate 50+ cars in any square or rectangle formation. Once all 4 convoys are there, then anyone (Fewbie and above) is free to play at the Iftar bowl by informing their respective trip leads. While arriving at the meeting point, look for your trip lead car and park behind his car/convoy and start deflating to 14 PSI for HT tires and 12 PSI for Off-road tires. Few important things to adhere to: Everyone in your car needs to wear a seatbelt, including kids and babies. After reaching the Iftar bowl, adhere to trip lead and support team guidance over walkie-talkie radio to park your car, precisely. While parking your car keep 1 car gap in between (not too far and not too tight) depending on how much space is available for us. After parking you can place your mats or chair and tables in front of your cars and join the setting with the neighboring car as per the below tentative plan. Bring food and drinks for yourself and a little bit extra to share, not too much. If you plan to leave your parking then make sure to leave a chair or mat in your parking spot to secure it. Be gentle (no sand splashing) and respectful (no eating and drinking in the open) to everyone around. The whole area will be too crowded and filled with cross-tracks, so if you stay in one place and use this time to interact with other off-roaders will be nice and highly recommended. Exit Planning 7:30 PM - M.Seidam (+971 55 4045278) will leave first and use channel 8 - 446.181'25 so if anyone wants to leave early, please inform him in advance, so that he can plan his convoy. 8:00 PM - Asif Hussain (+971 50 6990411) will leave second and use channel 7 - 446.156'25. Rest all 4 convoys will leave at 8:30 PM and will use the same respective channels. Srikumar will replace Asif Hussain and will lead the convoy 2 out using the same frequency assigned below. I believe you all guys are familiar in the desert night drive and just for quick refreshment few points worth to mention here as well as when we meet further clarification if any is more than welcome . except for the first car an off road lights are not mandatory and your stock high beam ,and fog light if present , are sufficient . the drive pace is slower than the day light drive in the given drive level distance between cars reduces to half fold obviously , but not too close. the focus and concentration is crucial and along comes the clear communication of any issue encountered throughout. in the event of exiting out of your vehicle for any reason always keep the radio and torch 🔦 with you Please watch for the sand night creepers always , closed shoe wear is highly recommended. please remind me if I have missed anything else important and relevant . Please be on time 21:30 sharp or bit earlier the better .
