  4. Thank you all for joining this morning ! We started quietly from the Mahafiz area, with some portions of track and small dunes as a warmup, and soon, we found the first large bowls. Excellent terrain to practice side sloping, control your momentum, and enjoy the feeling of driving on an incline, or going down a steep descend in the soft sand. Everyone was doing well, gaining confidence bowl after bowl. @JERINE_B lost his concentration at one point and got stuck in a precarious position. It was the only serious stuck of the day, it was cleared with a few shovels, and an excellent teamwork. Then we reached this very scenic area between Fossil Rock and Faya. The group went through the tight bowls and ridges with no issue at all, enjoying the view, and still keeping their focus on the tracks. After a photogenic break close to Little Fossil Rock, we made our way to the high dune of Faya. A wide empty face to practice the long climbs, and adjust the gears and the power of the car. @Jessica Lambert had the motivation to try different combinations to push the Prado as high as possible, but at a point the power/weight ratio of the car imposes its own limit. We made other attempts on the main face of the dune, but the cross tracks, the soft sand, and the power limitations of some of the first cars made it difficult. At this point, I realised that @JDub had exchanged the driver seat with his young son. This is of course absolutely not acceptable. For obvious reasons, it can be dangerous for this car and for the rest of the convoy. You can read more on this topic on This incident cleared, we gave up the high climbs as the high temperature was starting to show effect on the cars, and we reached quietly to the exit point, enjoying the views of the desert with the mountains in the background. @Emanuel @Jessica Lambert @Suresh K @Salim Akhtar @Federico Galbieri @Adam James @JERINE_B @Haitham Khattab @JDub @Tareck Very well driven all of you. We had only one serious stuck with shovelling, and the conditions were not easy. @Salim Akhtar thank you for the CF, and for coming from AD, @Tareck thank you for the very reliable sweep, and special thanks to @Shaaz Sha for supporting me today, with all his experience and guidance. It was a beautiful way to start the weekend, enjoy the rest of it !

  9. Please make sure you have all the required gear for the newbie level, without which you would not be allowed to join. A deflator, tire pressure gauge, flag with mount, walkie talkie programmed to all the Carnity channels and a compressor to inflate your tires after the drive is the basic minimum.

  11. Boys.. @Ranjan Das @Fabien Monleau @Mohamad Anwer @Gilbert Khalil @Charbel @Pacific @Anoop Nair @Waqas Parvez @Vaibhav @Amir Amiri @munkybizness. As we all know the temperature is kicking up now a days and it’s gonna take a large toll on our engines. From my experience in mahafiz today .. it’s better we make our exit at the mentioned time . So let’s make sure that we start rolling at 5.30 it self. So plz be at the meeting point a few minutes earlier . Thanks you guys🙏🏼

  15. Congratulations @Indra Ozola @Theo09 @Anirudh Dayma @Ahmed_Elmahdy for successfully completing your first drive with Carnity. We had a very good start of the day with nice breeze and warm welcome from the Oryxes at the deflation point followed by Ghazals checking upon us multiple times through the drive. You all did very well for the first drive and the short convoy also helped us practice some sidies, straight crossing, and ridge riding with no stops, stucks or refusals .. so again bravo👏👏👏 Thanks @Davie Chase for supporting the drive and well done @Ahmed_Elmahdy for handling the 2nd lead responsibility .. @Anirudh Dayma Pls check the car with the agency to ensure all is ok with the gear and that AT cooling circulation has no issues. It looks like latest generations of Pajero has a design flow in the transmission cooling system and sensors as there are many cases reported with the same. However normally these issues start to pop up under stress and for today we had almost none as it was an easy going drive, driving on D, you didn’t even had to switch to 4L, and sand was not that soft and it wasn’t that hot too. Check the below link with thorough discussion on the topic and if you still suffer the same then an extra powerful fan against the AT coolant will sure help (or may be you want to go an extra step and replace the AT cooler with a bigger one). @Ahmed_Elmahdy hope the car comes back with an easy fix.. let us know how it goes Finally, I wish you all an amazing off-road journey, full of safe adventure, fun, and adrenaline. Enjoy the rest of the weekend and hope to see you all soon

It was fun meeting you all 😊 in such a nice setting, greeted by Oryxes 😇 and driving in a place with minimal to none previous tracks seemed like a blessing - Thanks for that! 22. Hi Islam @Islam Soliman. Thank you for the trip feedback. Today’s trip started with a nice cool air and when we moved on the weather kept moderate with acceptable increase. That made the trip enjoyable without stresss. After delfating the tyres and fixing the flags, Islam has started the briefing with hight focus on security instructions. All drivers and passengers were carefully listening and that’s I can tell because Islam’s instructions were perfectly followed while driving. We have practiced today the basics with some short side sloping and dune riding. We only had one self recovery in a very short time due to @Davie Chasegreat contorl over the situation. @Anirudh Daymaand myself faced electronical and mechanical situation but thankfully everyone were safely gathered at the main road thanks to Islam and Davie. Thank you everyone. Was happy to drive with you and hope to see you again.
