  1. Thank you everyone for a smashing morning. @Frederic @GauravSoni @Amr Aydin @Alexanderrr @Simon Dawood @Zed @Waqas Parvez @ASAD. @Vaibhav@DP1011 , Deepak wrangler @Anoop Nair @Tom B @Looper The heavy fog gave us all the rare moment where we could spend sometime having a few good laughs and chats, getting to know each other a little better. After loosing almost 2 hours of the planned drive time when the sun came out, it was in it's full glory creating TBH a pretty unbearable weather. However, with us able to start the drive it was just a little bump on what otherwise was a perfect day. As we were approaching Old Lady Dune to take in her blessing @GauravSoni messaged on the radio that his car was having issues. Since we were starting the drive already pretty late it was decided that's it would be best for him to exit out. Hope the issue is a minor one and that things are fixed pretty soon.. After Gaurav's exit we headed East closer to Al Ain airport where we were treated to 2 absolutely beautiful bowls. If the weather was not hot enough you could feel the added heat of each driver trying to climb higher and faster than the previous. πŸ˜‚ What followed after was probably the best session of fast paced offroading I have been a part off. The criss crossings, sharp ridges, rolling dunes along with a fantastic bunch of drivers gave me the freedom to really push the limit. With the weather getting increasingly hot and since we had already offshot our planned exit time, it was decided to head to the tarmac. Thank you @Looper for taking care of the sweep duties, with so many heavy bulldozers in the convoys I am sure there would have been no tracks remaining. But it was very reassuring to know that you were at the back of a very long convoy. Finally to my very close buddy @Frederic thank you for joining this drive. It has been way too long since we have driven together on an IM drive. The moment you mentioned last Sunday that you were going to join, I was doubly excited for today's drive. We were only missing our 3rd musketeer @Gaurav, hopefully we can have another drive soon with all of us in it. Thank you Sweihan boys once again. Take care.

  2. What a way to complete my 50th drive with Carnity under lead of @Srikumar.With initial hiccup of Fog where we had to delay the drive and @Gaurav Sonihaving issue with his car which I hope is not too serious .Like I mentioned previously having 2 legends of Carnity in the drive would definitely be really fun. Though the drive was delayed we did share some funny moments and knowledge. The convoy drove amazingly. @Frederic your presence as 2nd lead made the convoy stronger and gave some motivation for Sri to push. @Amr Aydindrove really well being your first intermediate drive. Pajero Boys @Alexanderrrand @Simon Dawood pushed their cars really well and kept the momentum, @Zed It was good to see you in the LC without the rear bumper ☺️ and thank you for pushing. Prado Boys @ASAD.and @Waqas ParvezThank you for churning the sand for me. @Anoop Nair Good job with the Jeep with missing fender. Hope you get the beautiful jeep is back at its original beauty. @DP1011 , Deepak wranglerExcellent driving buddy. enjoy you break. @Tom B I could see the smile at the end of the drive you thoroughly enjoyed the drive. @Looperthanks for taking care at the back as a sweep. Hope to see everyone in the sand soon.

  3. Congratulations @M.Seidam for reaching the Marshal level with Carnity Offroad Club. Seidam joined Carnity in mid-2020 with his Jeep Grand Cherokee and great enthusiasm for off-roading. Later it got upgraded to Xterra to continue the passion and excitement to conquer every dune. With a very inquisitive nature, Seidam has learned and mastered many skills very quickly and always supported everyone. Exploring new areas and pushing new boundaries made him a seasoned off-roader with good knowledge and experience. With a prudent and cautious approach, he very well established his leading skills and tasteful drives to position himself as an integral part of the carnity family. MARSHAL is one of the most prestigious and sought-after titles that comes after a lot of hard work, patience, tolerance, and dedication. Just like all the levels in Carnity offroad club is "NOT" only based on driving skills but instead based on the combination of your personality + intelligence + team spirit + adventure. This Marshal title is an epitome for all levels in the offroad grading structure. So if anyone wants to grow, they can set any of Carnity Offroad Club Marshal as a PERFECT example for not only following the driving skills and style but also observing their behavior, teamwork, presence of mind, calculative approach, patience and tolerance to teach and support new offroaders.

  4. i have 2 statements to make: 1. The drive was excellent today, there were no deadly steps to avoid, so I didn't lose anything today and my front bumper was intact 😁 Well done Marshal @Srikumar 🫑 (salute emoji) 2. For some good reason, instead of popping-out, my BeadGrip wheels and wide tires tend to "lose air" when badly impacted from the sidewalls, resulting in 6psi and needed some air for driving safely. If it was not for @Vaibhav's on-board compressor, the drive would be further delayed as I have to take out my bulky compressor, attach wires, etc. Thanks bro πŸ‘πŸ» These statements are made from my own accord, without any coercion or endorsement from anyone πŸ˜‚ Too bad I didn't have to tug anyone with the LC, but that's also a testament of how good everyone drives in the convoy today πŸ‘πŸ» well done everyone πŸ‘πŸ» Mr @Waqas Parvez i hope you made it on time and didn't start a World War 3 πŸ™πŸ»

  5. Brilliant drive this morning @Srikumar. The last hour and half was absolutely superb. The regular radio messages shouting "floor it" "floor it" gives an indication of how much we were pushing. I really enjoy this area and it well worth the drive. @Frederic great job as 2L. As @Vaibhav says, having you as 2L no doubt gave @Srikumar that added confidence to push the convoy. @Looper great support at the back. And to everyone else, well driven! No doubt see you all soon.

  7. My first Newbie Lead , Drive report Now I know why leading a Newbie/Absolute Newbie level is , I would say not difficult but unique. understanding and building a trust between the lead and the fellow new drivers is crucial to the success of this first drive to them. No less is the rule of the support team on board. I was honoured having Dr @Chaitanya D and @Mehmet Volga supporting me in this drive from the start till the end whom without their calm approach and cool smile This drive wouldn’t be possible. Extending my sincere thanks to @imranaasghar81 an experienced intermediate driver who was at the tail of the convoy keeping a watchful eye that no one is left behind as well as contributing effectively in the recovery of a stuck situation of one of our friends. equally i must say thank you to every one who showed up even ahead of time to the meeting point almost ready and who shared their passion and thoughts about todays drive and did more than great even for the completely new ones. After checking on every driver and his own vehicle as well as checking the two way communication is set we moved on the track till we entered the huge sabkha where we stoped and an intensive briefing took place clarifying the important safety points pertained to this level and emphasising on the communication and convoy discipline to be maintained at all time. Then we headed to conquer the desert 🌡 Coming from leading higher levels I needed to recalibrate my style and the route helped in that the many times assisting in such drives and the pre drive discussed preparation but more than that the continuous support of all team during the whole drive πŸ™ I hope the aim was accomplished so for the new ones could have the chance to initially get acquainted with their own machines in the safest possible driving environment like the desert which by all mean is far different than driving on the tarmac. It’s just the beginning so if you have got already hooked ( like I and many did ) prepare your self for more exciting drives to come taking the off road ladder step by step. @Khyber as for first time in the sand I believe you did very well. Well done . It was pleasure meeting you. @Lucasfirst time in a convoy .coming from quite far ahead of time revealed the spark of enthusiasm for this team sport. You gave opportunity to others with your crest and we deal with it. Your calmness and clear communication was noticeable.very well done πŸ‘. @Salvador Perez very well trial of self recovery but don’t worry with practice you will become more better in it . It was pleasure meeting for first time . @Karthik Raptor what a pleasure seeing you driving the Jimny today , you proved it’s always the driver who steers the wheel even if it was a β€œ mini raptor β€œ πŸ˜… @Nathan L and @Brett E guys you did more than wonderful today . Pleasure πŸ™ @imranaasghar81 I liked the way you performed the rope recovery today so smooth and sequentially increasing intensity . Thanks for the sweep and assisting. For sure you are part of the team πŸ‘ Great Day passionate drivers and professional team what more could I have wanted ! Thank you all and take care Seidam

  9. @JeromeFJ- That was an amazing track. It was my first time to be with you while you led the drive @Mike. 2nd lead of the game very well executed, @Benjamin, @Zubair In spite of the fact that it was your first fewbie drive, you guys drove excellent. @Jaro Tuzinsky Although the stuck workout was challenging, but your self-recovery was greatly appreciated. @Brett Eicher, It is a pleasure to see a classic Cherokee and an excellent driven by you @Jonny90, been with you in your earlier drives, u should have enjoyed this drive too. @Joji varghese Since I've been with you for more than 50 drives, I don't know what to say. It shows how much experience and control you have when driving. @Brette, It was really long to see you in desert, no words on the drive, but I'm glad to see you in Beard. New Look Suits you!!!

  22. Congrats @M.Seidam - we have been together on just couple of drives. However last 3-4 months, I have learnt so much from you about work ethics, openness to share and be always available to guide, through various off the drive discussions we have had. As @Gauravrightly indicated being a Marshal is about leadership and personality and you set the perfect example for us to follow. Very well deserved and thanks for always being there to share your idea and learning with all.

  23. Great drive as usual Hisham. @Ranjan Das your instructions to get the car from that ditch were impressive; I never thought he will come out without being winched out or on all 4 wheels Unfortunately no one had a camera handy to document how tilted that car was.. Good job. See you next time.

  24. Great job everyone, new fb+ and old ones. Thank you for joining, and special thanks to drivers from Abu Dhabi. Started almost on time, with little delay due to foggy weather. The plan was as mentioned earlier to start with big red and finish by faya, crossing pink rock and Sweidan area. Unfortunately, with the news received that both are surrounded with fences, plan changed. We spent some time warming up on big red dunes, and then the actual fun transferred to badayer. Amazing performance by everyone, with few refusal, one stuck and one pop out. Thank you very much @Ranjan Dasfor supporting us, @Ashutosh Garg for the powerful and full adherence SL and @Sunil Mathewfor sweeping us, till the loss of the flag of Ranjan Das. Wish you @Salim Akhtar @Ignacio QuindΓ³s @Sam K @Haitham Khattab @Naim Aoun @Tareq Al Turq @Imran Kashif @Senthil Kumar @takeshi sobue nice week end, and look forward to see you again in sand. Below summary of the drive. Regargds

  25. Cracking good fog this morning! I left home in plenty of time thanks to Abu Dhabi's awful fog alarm (which every mobile phone holder in the emirate gets blasted with for free) and complied with AD's 80kph limit all the way to Sweihan. It was a pea souper all the way along Al Taf until I was virtually at the meeting point. The dunes were like a frat party with hoons and drongos roaming like drunken crows (but with less discipline) Never mind, @Vanessa8580 runs a tight ship and soon we had trundled off in a compact little convoy to taste yet again, the mighty Al Ain sand sea. Lovely cool morning turned into a lovely hot morning after a few refusals and stucks but the progress was good. Thanks to @Davie Chase for all of the hard work at centre forward, my tasks at second lead were relatively simple by comparison. Thanks to @Looper and the late @Zed for bringing up the rear and having the most fun. The only Fewbie I could observe directly was @Jessica Lambert and my observation is that she drove immaculately! never a wheel wrong. Nice to meet you @Paul Zietsman and @Zulfikhar Naiyar I hope today met your expectations and that you progressed your learning. We all start somewhere (now get to the wheel and tyre shop STAT!)
