  2. Hey @Mehmet Volga… after riding the dunes for about 100+ drives, I went for Dobinsons MRA suspensions with 30 mm spacers to avoid hitting the reservoir installed in the wheel arch… the car now sits at 2 inch lift with the heavy springs which kinda gives a good look overall.. The MRA’s is what Dobinson a refer as stage 4, with knobs provided to adjust the settings to make it hard/ soft. I personally have found a sweet spot setting for on and off road. Riding the ridges is more comfortable with good clearance and it can take those steep small steps we end up finding while leading.. one major change I felt is the reduced dashboard rattle on speeds >60 on the serrated sabka tracks😂.. i did crack one of my suspension bush which was replaced by the shop. These will get your pockets lighter by almost 8.5k along with spacers (H&R). One another note , There is a slight vibration that I get when driving on road at 90-110 which my mechanic says is due to change in transmission shaft angle cos of the lift. M not sure if @Alexanderrr @Simon Dawood @Mus_hus78 have experienced it yet. overall I am happy with the experience so far!

  7. @Mehmet Volga Though I do not have a Pajero, I concur with notes from @GauravSoni. I have had Dobinsons MRA + 2" lift + 50mm spacers (H&R) couple of weeks ago; I could feel the difference in desert. The car is less 'jumpy' and tends to keep you in contact with the sand more. The above arrangement cost me roughly AED 10K. There is a promotion going on at Dobinsons now; it may be worth giving them a call. For the spacers, I checked the reviews for other brands and recommendations on 4x4 groups; do not take chances with these minor stuff when off-roading.

  8. @Alexanderrr @GauravSoni@Warren Flay@Simon Dawood and others with lifted Pajeros 😄 would be good to share your pros and cons on off-road and on road behavior since installing the lift kit. @Mehmet Volga are you on 16inch rims ?

  12. As imteeaz pointed out.. MRA are the top option with fully adjustable and rebuildable shocks.. Base option is like your stock suspensions but with slightly bigger shock diameter for better performance than stocks.. IMS - is stage 2 which is mono shock… MRR - is stage 3 which has an external reservoir but not adjustable MRA - is stage 4 which gives a complete control to change the behavior as per your driving style.. If u want a lift , and happy with stocks till now, then go for Base version.. (yellow colored) … else i would suggest to go for MRA…

  15. Hi mate, Two inch lift kit (springs and shocks) EFS brand. No spacers. Huge improvement on the sand with better damping on jumps (oops, I meant 'bumps' and no bottoming out. Better turning and braking stability on the sand. On the road? I hit speed bumps without slowing down now, the shocks are fantastic. The handling and general road manners however, have dipped a noticeable amount due to the higher center of gravity but this was expected. All in for less than 5 grand if I remember right. Wazza

  16. For me lift kit was more about protection, so I got budget TJM ,which is stiff on road and little bouncy in sand due to heavy dutie springs which are more mean for heavy loaded vehicles then lighter once. In term of performance ,dont think it made a diffrence , maybe @Gaurav Sonimight tell you more, he has got a good performance suspension.

  17. @Rizwanm2 do you plan to open a spot or two in this drive 🤗?

  18. Hello all Pajero riders. I am planning to replace my suspensions (2017 Pajero LWB) as the stock ones are completely dead. While doing this, I will install lift kit (2 inches) and put wheel spacers to the alignment of fenders edge. I'd be appreciated any of your recommendations (brand, type, cost, etc...) , good or bad experiences... best fit with Pajeros... etc. ... or maybe not to change but have new stock ones again... Thank you in advance...

  21. @Mehmet Volga clearly its not like the stock suspension has ever stopped u 😂. But since u hav decided to upgrade the MRA are a good investment, these things hold their value as in when u decide to rebuild they are just as good as new and if u want to just sell them after a good use & abuse, u wil still be able to recover some of that money spent. stage 1 in my opinion will give you just the lift, bit stiffer than the stock maybe. Bt Like i said its not like the stocks ever stopped u so im sure even with stage1 u will fly 😂

  40. @Ale VallecchiWhat can I say other than you never cease to amaze me with your knowledge of the terrain and skills you possess, We drove nearly 3.5 hours nonstop and never felt the rhythm of the drive slipping; when you posted the drive crossing Tawi nazwa all the Badayer, I knew it would be an epic one; in fact, we went all the way to shuwaib; it was like doing two drives in a single day😀 This could not have been achieved with the support of rest of the drives, everyone was on their toes and drove expectatioally well @Fabien Monleau @Senthil Kumar @Ashutosh Garg @Imran Kashif @Sunil Mathew and the bad boyz at the end the @Gaurav Soni @DP1011 , Deepak wrangler See you guyz in the desert untill next time.

  41. Wonderful mid week drive @Ale Vallecchi, as expected, a long range drive with 68Kms in 3.5 hrs on the stats! with a stopped time of only 32 min including my unfortunate pop out!! Took me 78 drives to experience a pop out, and didn't recognize that i was having one , kept on suspecting my diff lock not disengaging, until i peeked out of the window Anyway its a lesson learnt with my changed ride being longer with a heavier rear end, and driving with 9 psi may not be a great idea anymore...will get to the sweet spot soon. Given the soft sand, and short and steep crossings at many places, we had our share of refusals and couple of tugs, but everyone drove well for the higher and longer climbs Thanks for the assistance with my pop out @Fabien Monleau, @Waqas Parvez @GauravSoni- and great overall support where required Good to see you again @Senthil Kumar - you are almost a regular for mid week drives, see you soon @Ashutosh Garg - we drove together last weekend as well, good to see you again @Imran Kashif - coming all the way from abu dhabi - appreciate your commitment to this sport, always ready to help with any situation, hope you get your flag back from the car wash guys and @DP1011 , Deepak wrangler - nice to drive with you again Looking forward and coming back for more!!
