  2. People who have been born and brought up here, must have tons of memories of the UAE landscape and nature. I would like to encourage every member here to help us take a trip down memory lane and post whichever photos you have lying around, or what you have found online. (mention the source). Focus is on Nature (deserts and mountains) and Offroad. Source: These unseen photos of Abu Dhabi transport you to another era (thenationalnews.com)

  6. Single drive restriction stays from Mon 7:00 PM - Wed 11:59 PM. On Thu - 00:00 AM all waitlists will automatically move to RSVP if the drive isn't full yet. So @Marketa Dobesova you will be moved to the RSVP list in the next 5 hours for this Iftar gathering.

  7. Looks like you have put yourself in "manage" If you click on "leave event", and then click on "add to waitlist" it should work. If not Gaurav can add you manually, no worries.

  10. This was my first scenic drive and my first wadi drive. Thanks @Fredericfor selecting a great route which also included my first water crossing (not counting sheikh zayed road after a drizzle 😁). Had a very enjoyable and peaceful drive. Special thanks to @imranaasghar81 and @Vanessa8580for getting me out of a brambly surprise which I got for taking the wrong line over a dune. Thanks to all for the great videos and pics. Sharing below a few I took.

  11. it was an amazing drive indeed@Frederic. The convoy spirit mixed with the precision planning and execution. The water crossing was the cherry on top. One thing though, I noticed you forgot to mention one convoy member that was driving the Renault Captur. 🤣 @imranaasghar81 thanks for sweeping. Please don’t forget to post the pictures of all the car parts you picked up from the drive! I can’t seem to locate my exhaust. See you in the next drive.

  28. There should be a rubber grommet that leads to your glove compartment. But i have another question for you: - Will this be the only lights you will add ? or do you plan to have more in the future ? The reason is this, i recently came across the Auxbeam switch panel and must say although it is not super cheap, i was extremely impressed with how easy it was to install multiple lights or other external items. Have a look here: Auxbeam 8 Gang Switch Panel, Universal Circuit Control Relay System Box with Automatic Dimmable On-Off LED Switch Pod Touch Switch Box for Car Pickup Truck Jeep Boat UTV SUV, BA80 Blue 2 Year Warranty : Amazon.ae: Automotive So far i have always done my own installs by buying the relays, wiring, fuses, etc.. but even though i do my best, after a couple of years, and a lot of heat and sand, those wires became brittle, and the relays started to fail. The fact that this is a one-stop solution with IP65 rating really could be a life-saver. Installation over the weekend with a helper and a good beer
