My BM hardly brought up problems for me. Never have I been ever disappointed with my car and the reason are scheduled maintenance. Rule#1 Always take your car to the dealership when it should go to the dealership. No slacking. This is why cars tend to be exposed to different problems if they are not regularly maintained. And with a car like BMW, i dont think people skip maintenance appts. neither should you.

Being a woman with kids I am always on the road and cannot take the risk of driving a car with engine problems and power loss. I had one big issue with my bmw once and after that I got really scared of driving around and keeping up with my routine. I still own the same car but am very skeptical. Fingers crossed!

Transmission issues seem to be becoming a norm across the board now. I actually read a couple of days ago that nearly all manufacturers are installing third party transmissions in order to cut their costs. Surprising that cars like bmw etc are no different.

Uh well it was second hand but when i bought it the car had hardly any mileage on it .. it was used for max a year! How can a person get a second paint job just after a year of a new car ownership?! most importantly whatt do i do now?

What do you do when your three year old bmw's paint just starts to chip off?! Oh my God! I had heard about the paint problem for a couple of oldie bmws but didn't think it would happen to me someday. Its just chipping off from the door sides and the other ends where the rear window is installed. i just cant believe it. I actually feel like contacting BMW!

which manufacturers supply Air Filter to BMW i have to get mine changed and i am looking for original one but the BMW guys wont tell me the make.
