Hi I just bought 2004 M3 SMG. About 100k miles. 1-Drove fine for about 1,000 miles (highway). 1.1 when i drove in a traffic jam I noticed a "grinding" noise from under the car with the SMG light illuminated. 2-I Turned off car, It did not come back on after restart. 3-Drove car about 10 miles and the SMG light came on again. 4-Then it was not shifting normally. Would drop into 0 when coming to a stop. 5-Sometimes will automatically go back into 0 gear, other times I had to manually shift it back to gear. Grinding noise is more noticeable. 6-One time would not shift past 2nd. 7-Let it cool for about 1 hour. Was able to drive for about 10 miles with no issue, no SMG light. Grinding still noticeable however. 2 Videos attached Please help me diagnosing this issue
