In my Escalade, on long drive when i go at times i see cruise control stops working. I need to engage two to three times to make sure that it works and stay set at 115 km. Its an intermittent issue, so don't know where to start from as i mentioned same in last service to dealer and they said we will check and fix, but nothing has changed looks like they cant catch the real bug. I thank you guys, if someone can please give some Einstein idea to explore this problem root cause.

i am assuming that your hood is hydraulic. If so get it changed which is a time saving solution what you car guy will do is just experiment to keep it going but eventually you will have to change the hydraulic.

headlights original are way toooo expensive 1k aed is what they quoted me 2 years back.

No need to get so paranoid all you know is that the AC needs some good servicing and to fill up some AC gas with time the AC also gets a bit worn out and thinking that you are braking something when switching on the AC then the cooling wouldn't start so best in my opinion is get the AC serviced.

if the accelerator is off the car shuts off then it can be the fuel pump problem

your EGR valve can be cleaned you dont need to be replaced as i have done that once in my car its very messy and takes about 4 to 5 hrs. i will still suggest that you go and take a second opinion.

my friend faced the same problem but there are very few garages who will touch cadi due to the complex engine.. anyone has a good suggestion for a good garage in dubai ?

why were you asked to get the car tuned? did you get it done and has the problem resolved.

The Service Soon Light means that your car has some problem. GM calls the Check Engine Light the 'Service Engine Soon Light'. Your Cadillac needs to be diagnosed and repair accordingly, it could be something very simple and cheap and could be big. Better consult cadillac dealer and get it fixed.

Problem solved in 100 aed and 1 hr visit to sawta guys. Gildi you were damn right, it was motor. what a mess opening that door from inside.

It could be gear issue, or else check the universal joint on drive shaft it must be rubbing against the heat shield or it could be gear solenoid clicking noise. Check these both before doubting gear (expensive part).

passenger side window is stuck at little down from top. power window button making no use only lil noise coming while doing up or down but window pane isnt moving. Is this loose circuit or motor?
